Appealing a Decision of an Inspector:

An increasing penalty is added to each re-inspection. If you disagree with the inspector you can request a hearing before the Administrative Appeals Board. A one page form must be filled out with a $25 fee within 30 days of receiving the assessment notice. The form can be obtained on line from the web site - http://www.city.milwaukee.gov/. At that site, click "Departments" on the top menu, then click "City Clerk", then click "Administrative Appeals". The form will appear. It contains instructions. Added documentation to support your argument can be included.
